  • How do I receive/collect the standard I have purchased?
  • You choose the manner of collecting the standard in your order.
    Standards in hard copy or on CD-ROM can be collected in person workdays from 08:30 to 15:00 at Zagreb, Ulica grada Vukovara 78, after you have received notification from us that they are ready, or are sent to you by registered post. Standards in PDF format can be sent to your e-mail address.

  • When do I receive the Croatian standard I have purchased?
  • After we receive a proof of payment from you or the Financial Agency (FINA). 
  • In what formats are standards available?
  • Croatian standards and other Croatian normative documents are available in hard copy and in electronic (PDF) format. Other standards distributed by the HZN (German (DIN), British (BS) and US (ASTM)) are available only in hard copy.
  • How and where can I buy standards?
  • You can buy Croatian, international (ISO and IEC) and other standards (German (DIN), British (BS) and US (ASTM)) at HZN.
    Please make an order by e-mail at prodaja@hzn.hr using the Order Form or at HZN, Zagreb, Ulica grada Vukovara 78, workdays from 8:30 to 15:00, payment by credit card.

  • Can users view standards free of charge?
  • Any user can view standards free of charge at HZN's Standards Library. The Library, located in Zagreb, Ulica grada Vukovara 78, is open for users on workdays from 8:30 to 15:00. Please give us a call prior to your visit at 01 6106 051, 01 6106 059 or send an e-mail to normoteka@hzn.hr.
  • Are Croatian standards free of charge?
  • No, Croatian standards and other Croatian normative documents are available from HZN for a fee ( Price list of standards and other publications ).
  • How can I search data on Croatian standards (HRN)?
  • Through the on-line Catalogue of Croatian standards, with various search options, e.g. title or reference number of the standard, keyword, technical committee (HZN/TO), ICS code, etc. 
  • What is a Croatian standard?
  • A Croatian standard is any publicly available standard adopted by the Croatian Standards Institute (HZN). It is designated as HRN. Only this type of documents may be designated as Croatian standard (HRN). Pursuant to international agreements, Croatian standards development relies on international and European standards, as well as national standards of other countries.
